Ditch your builder registration cards to go digital

The information on a customer registration card is invaluable for tracking customer leads and converting them to buyers. The ongoing challenge is traditionally salespeople are more interested connecting with customers personally, then spend time inputting data. In an age of virtual shopping where the demand for contactless transactions is only increasing, gone are the days of the old paper registration cards.  For users of our HCP CRM platform, we are taking it step further. While tablet sign-in/registration works well for gathering customer information, we’ve designed a contactless QR code that allows interested buyers to complete builder registration cards with a simple click.

Why do home builder registration cards matter?

A registration card allows sales to gather information needed for taking home buyers through the sales and marketing process. When sales representatives fail to gather information, it is difficult for a company to accurately track a customer’s journey through the CRM system. Ultimately, registration card data provides the sales team with the ability to effectively track leads and turn them into revenue. Unfortunately, customers can be reluctant to fill out information, making it more likely for sales to skip the administrative tasks unless they see the benefit. Moving to a digital solution, eliminates this issue altogether.

Going Digital

Consider builder registration cards the building blocks of your marketing strategy. While reg cards help sales collect essential information for your company, they also add an extra step in the customer journey for the sales team. When you move to a digital reg card, you can skip the dual entry and transcribing, creating a seamless and more efficient sales journey.   Mobile and kiosk enabled systems work well for allowing customers to digitally fill in their personal information and share where they heard about your product and service. This information is then logged immediately with all records created as soon as someone presses the “submit” button. The data will then flow directly into your CRM system, ensuring that no information of a customer or lead is lost.

Go Contactless

Take the next step with digital visitor cards and go contactless. Our own CRM solution for home builders, HCP,  gives customers the option to fill out their registration card on their own device via QR code. With one quick scan, customers can instantly share their information digitally.  Not only do digital visitor cards improve efficiency in the sales process, but it also allows the sales team to eliminate the time-consuming task of entering key customer information into the CRM solution and reduces the chance for input error. The QR code and digital kiosk enabled registration cards are both able to gather key information about existing customers and leads and store it instantaneously. Removing the need for your sales team to spend time manual transcription allows them to focus more on using the data for customer relationship building and marketing. An integrated CRM solution like HCP helps strengthen employee-customer relationships.
