Snap, Inc. is one of the largest publicly-traded social media companies in the world. Their business is comprised of advertising sales on their platform in addition to a growing hardware business.
Challenge:
Snap has its own internal Salesforce engineering team and purchased Wave Platform with plans to implement it with their internal team. Competing priorities and knowledge/training differences between the Analytics Platform and core Salesforce platform was delaying their rollout. The goal was to provide their sales teams visibility into their selling activities in a single, easy to use dashboard.
Solution:
ApostleTech created two dashboards, which provide views of sales data for executives as well as sales reps and sales leaders.
Results:
These two dashboards became the focus and enablement tool for their weekly sales calls. Immediately the teams called for additional datapoints. ApostleTech is now engaged in an ongoing fashion to work with the Snap team bringing these data points to the dashboards. We are providing support in dataset design, dashboard design, ETL architecture, and training the internal Snap team on usage of Wave.
